In the north side of the Bolivar Square it´s located the palace of justice, place whose events make primordial part of the colombia history.
The first Palace of Justice that existed in Colombia began operations among the year 1920 at 1930. It was designed by the architect Pablo de la Cruz inspired by the neoclassical tendencies. It was built on the eleven street with six career, where at the moment a parking lot works.
The palace was one of the first buildings set on fire during the "Bogotazo",(April 9 1948), date that coincides with the birth of the guerrilla movement M-19.
Second Palacio of Justice appeared in the sixties and it was designed for the architect Roberto Londoño, with a modernist style although with some vestiges of neoclassical tendencies. The building was made in stone between 11 and 12 street and between the careers 7 and 8, where the current one is located.
The Second Palace of Justice set on fire during the events of november 6/1985, after the armed taking of M-19 guerrilla .
It is the place where judges and magistrates of the republic exercise judicial functions, in order of preserving the rights of the citizens.

Para que Colombia, se considere una nación progresista tanto en su economía como en la solidez de sus instituciones, estas en las manos correctas, y que estas se encarguen s de brindarle mejores condiciones a su pueblo, es sumamente importante que se sepa la verdad de su pasado para porgresar y no recometer errores en el futuro. Como se pueden generar grupos de oposición ante las victimas despues de todo lo que se ha visto? Si nos contarán bien la historia, sin desmeritar al vida de nadie pero con esta misma razón, Gloria de Lanao Anzola era una abogada independiente, de familia, visitante ocasional y que se generen grupos que presionen a las victimas depués de lo que se investigado?No es justo. Tenemso derecho ala verdad y que la historia sea bien contada desde los medios. de comunicación. Estos si no son bien encaminados solo sirven apra maldad como estos grupso que apoyan a Plazas Vega, por no contar la historia tal y como es para evitar que se repita.
For Colombia, to considere itself as a developped nation in manners as economy and in the fortress of the institutions, these having to be in the right hands, and that with these institutions give the citizens a better quality of life. This is very important aspect because their is only one truth of the past of this country, and knowing it is the only way to don´t fall again in that horrible and injustice mistakes of the past. I can´t understand how can it exist a little group opposed to the group of the family victims, that defend thsi coronell, after all the truth that had been hide for more than 23 years. If they would tell us the real history, i don´t want to desvalue the life of the others in the cafeteria but there is one, my mother, Gloria de Lanao Anzola she was an independent lawyer, with family, nephew of a high Magistrate called Aydee Anzola she was there by accident. Communication medias are guilty of these gropus that support unjustice, that because they never, tell the story the way it was and as the honnor and merits of the victims in their with all their parts, it had generete a group of opposittion to the poor victims. this is not fair. today they are claims to release Coronell Plazas when with each research we discover the repulsive acts they done. We as a country have the right for the truth, and that the story is called complete . These if they are not managed the best way, it can distort reality to colombians, generating this groups and slowing the process of making justice. This will also generate these groups that support coronell Plazas Vega, making possible to this third world country to live without a human rights as the TRUTH. This groups are guilty as the coronell, and as the comunication medias for not specifing exactly who were the ones that were in the cafeteria. They were not 10 employees.
