Maloka is an interactive museum, in addition it´s the greater interactive center of science and technology of South America. Its name derives from maloca, which is a great house that serves as meeting place of many indigenous communities of the Amazon.

According to the natives of Amazon, maloca is not single a house or place of meetings. Maloca is the center of all the universe and life, symbol of the families integration, a place where to chat , watches stars, shares the food. For the natives, maloca is the only place where the knowledge are transmitted, the oral tradition, histories, where the problems are solved.

Today, the Maloka term became the symbol of the world of science and technology, a place where the playful and daily way it is to teach to the children the fascinating world of physics, chemistry, mathematical, Biology, geography, etc.

Between his attractions it has cine-domo in which they appear documentary in giant format of dome (with vision in several directions and perspective).

Cicloruta

Bogota_Colombian_Bike_Paths

It is a designed place that contribute to stimulate the use of alternative means of transport in the city, also encourage practices of the sport, to disclose all type of activity or event that is related to the average culture, art, sport and the recreation like having one better quality of life in our city and contributing to the citizen culture.

Bogota's CicloRutas (Bike Paths) are one of the longest in the world covering a total of 301KM, from Monserrate to the Bogota River. On Sundays, approximately 1.5 Million people take to the streets in their bicycles as 120KM of streets are closed. I think this is a great initiative by the Bogota local government and allows for the reduction of smog from emissions and encourages healthy alternatives to mass transportation as well as exercise for the masses.

This is a picture of the Septima Street(Downtown), there are many more bike paths(ciclorutas) that you can find in this bogota map
